BWRP - Figura

Figura is a mod that allows you to customize your in game avatar in many ways! BWRP uses Figura to add some personality to each of our races with some simple templates. This also lets us change our shown skins without having to update our actual minecraft skin.

Using BWRP's Figura Templates

Included in the BWRP modpack along with the mods themselves are a suite of example figura files. To the left you can view a quick youtube guide courtesy of our own SiahSneaka which explains how to change your skin and gives you a little overview of Figura which is all that is required to get started on BWRP.

In addition to using differing skins from our minecraft accounts BWRP also uses Figura for two other features; Chat Bubbles and Armour Texturing. Chat bubbles are a simple element that only displays while a player's chat bar contains text, this can be very useful in many roleplays to know who's typing. The template models each contain a small speech bubble, though many players choose to customize it's looks. Each template also contains some textures to display instead of vanilla armour. Many players also use similar customizations for their own outfits.

Style Guide

As a rule we attempt to keep BWRP related works for use in game in line with the Minecraft Style Guide that is well documented on the Blockbench Wiki. The main difference you may find in BWRP is a supported use of mixels in specific circumstances.

In BWRP Mixels are almost always exactly one increment smaller than the surrounding pixels, so what would be one pixel elsewhere is now 4 pixels. Mixels are used very sparingly, usually with the intention of highlighting a specific noteworthy item or detail.
